Chris Rowland
Chris joined NeoTract, Inc. in November of 2009 and was the President and CEO of the company through May 2011. Prior to joining NeoTract from 2006 to 2009 he served as a member of the executive committee for Given Imaging (NASDAQ: GIVN – www.givenimaging.com). Chris joined Given Imaging in February 2006 as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy and was then promoted to President Americas. Prior to Given Imaging, Chris worked for the Boston Scientific Corporation (BSX – www.bsci.com) for seventeen years in positions of increasing responsibility in the US and abroad, across many BSX divisions from Sales, Product Development, Marketing and General Management. During this time, Chris received over 20 US and International Patents for a variety of minimally invasive medical devices mainly used in the GI Endoscopy area. Prior to BSX, Chris spent four years with the Xerox Corporation. Chris has a B. Sc. in Marketing from Southern Illinois University.
